Remembrance Sunday 2007

by Webmaster - 22:46 on 13 November 2007

Father Bob led the start of the Remembrance Day service at the War Memorial on Caston's Village Green.

It was a fairly chilly day and the wind really swirled around, at times almost blowing away Father Bob's words. but hopefully the short video gives a glimpse of the ceremony before the 40 or so villagers made their way into the Church of the Holy Cross.

(Thanks to David Blincow who kindly took the time to put this video together.)

From an American cousin who lived in England years ago. A beautiful ceremony with such dignity and love. You make me feel real pride in all the good and noble things that England has done for the world. May all the souls of the valient around the world rest in peace.
