Break In - Northacre

by Brian Brooker - 08:51 on 05 September 2016

There has been another burglary in Northacre this week, this time an outbuilding and a summerhouse were broken into. The incident happened between Wednesday night 31 August and Saturday morning 3 September and a ride on mower, other large garden equipment / tools and some personal items were stolen.  The police have been informed.

As this is now the 2nd incident within a week along Northacre, this is more worrying and so please can I ask everyone within Caston and Northacre to be vigilant and if anyone sees or hears anything suspicious, or has any information about this incident, please let our Neighbourhood Watch officer, Colin Bearne know on 01953 483961 and/or the Police.

As a follow up to my reminder earlier this week, please can you also ensure that your property and any outbuildings /sheds etc are locked and alarmed as appropriate.

Any chance of knowing which property was burgled?

It's considered unwise to publicise exact details as it might encourage others to repeat the offence.
