The Passing of Mrs Joan Dempsey
by Annie Brooker - 19:42 on 17 October 2016
Joan Dempsey a long standing Caston villager sadly passed away last week. She had turned 89 within the last month. Many will remember her for her annual fund raising for the British Red Cross, her staunch support for Caston Holy Cross Church, her love of bridge and her endless tales of life growing up in Kenya. Such a character she will be much missed.
If you remember Joan and would like to add a few words below then please do so.
