Caston Open Gardensby Webmaster - 18:21 on 08 June 2007Co-ordinated by local resident, Polly Perkins, a number of villagers have agreed to 'open' their gardens on June 24th from 11am to 5pm.
Tickets are £4.00 per person and can be purchased at any of the participating gardens (well signposted). One ticket will get you in to all of the particpating gardens. All money raised will be equally split between two worthy causes.
The first is the Children's Hospice in Quidenham where a fantastic job is being done to support families throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses. Find out more by visiting their web site at www.each.org.uk
The other is the fabric fund of the Church of the Holy Cross here in Caston. As the name suggests, all money donated here is strictly for the preservation of the building itself.
Do please come along. You will not only be assisting these two funds but it will also enjoy a very interesting day. Tea and refreshments will be available on the way and toilet and parking facilities are readily accessible. Make a diary note now!!
