On Monday 19th July 23 members and friends of the Caston Art Group took time off from painting and had a day trip to Holt in north Norfolk.

The weather was superb, if not a little too hot, and the members enjoyed a great day exploring the art galleries and shops. The art galleries provided members with an opportunity to see and explore varied styles of art and sculpture, both modern and traditional. Some of the ideas and concepts will no doubt be tried by members in their own paintings. Several folk also took the opportunity to let the plastic work and returned to the coach armed with several full shopping bags.
