New Floor Completed and Car Park Drains Fitted
The replacement of the village hall floor is now complete and the hall is back in full use. The floor was completely replaced and the lower wall areas renewed. The hall floor has subsequently been coated and now looks revitalised with its shiny varnished pine finish.
Additionally, new drains have been installed under the car park at the rear of the hall which it is hoped will mean that the area no longer becomes flooded in heavy rain.
The Village Hall Management Committee are very grateful to Roy Horner and his wife, Jane, for carrying out the varnishing of the floor and repainting the renewed areas of the walls and to David Blincow and Brian Brooker who assisted in applying the primer coat to the floor.
The Committee are now giving consideration to further improving the hall and its facilities.
