In response to the protests regarding the play area in front of Coronation Terrace, the EDP has visited the area and has run an extensive article which can be accessed on this link www.edp24.co.uk but what is of particular interest and concern is that, according to the EDP, mid-Norfolk MP George Freeman is stated to be visiting the area in Dereham to see for himself the planning concerns that are happening there yet he is still to answer any of the numerous communications that have been sent to him from residents of Caston.
MP's do not apparently get involved in private planning applications but it would seem at this stage that our MP has still not properly reviewed this case in order to understand that it is not an individual but a Breckland application. A week has gone past and he has still not responded directly to any emails sent to him. It remains to be seen as to whether he will take the time to visit Caston as well as Dereham.
Update: The latest information we have is that a message from George Freeman's parliamentary assistant says he will forward the information to him. We await the outcome.
