The annual Henderson Quiz was held on Friday 25th May at Caston Village Hall.  The quiz is held in memory of Vie Henderson who used to run the shop in Stow Bedon and who, when she died in the 1980s,  left a bequest to Caston Village Hall.  The quiz has been held each year since then and sees teams from different organisations in the village and surrounding area competing for the honour of being the annual champions.

This year saw eleven teams battle through ten rounds of ten questions each round on subjects ranging from sport to medical, food to nature.  The Caston Women's Institute entered two teams which ran out as winners and runners-up.  Congratulations to the winning WI team comprising of Lynne Wellbelove, Kay Deerling, Jackie Porter and Louise Davies.

The questions were set by Brenda Southgate from Griston who organised the evening together with several helpers and the question master was David Blincow.
