DEVELOPMENT OF WHITE HOUSE SITE CASTON

DEVELOPMENT OF WHITE HOUSE SITE CASTON
Please note changed reference number which is

Planning ref.no. 3PL/2008/0975/0 RESUBMISSION

CLOSING DATE FOR OBJECTIONS IS 22 JULY 2008

A yet further revised development has been submitted to Breckland Council, at the same time that the District Co. refusal of the last application is still under challenge by the Applicant.

This latest application accepts retention of White House but seeks to build within its grounds three 4-bedroom houses close to the rear of White House, in addition to one 3¬bedroom bungalow alongside it. The three 4-bedroom houses at the rear are shown on the accompanying plan to be joined into one long block.

At the Parish Council meeting on Monday 7 July it was agreed that the rear buildings would intrude into the rural aspect of this site and that a reduced number of one or at most two houses would be preferred.

Residents may know that the Tree Preservation Order recently laid on remaining landscape trees of White House and adjoining properties explained (Quote) "The White House, Caston, and its attendant small field system, is an integral and characteristic part of the historic fabric of Caston".

The good folk of Caston are invited again to individually record their opposition to this latest proposal before 22 July.
