Whist Drive

Friday evening and time to enjoy one of the twice annual Whist Drives held at the Village Hall in aid of Village Hall funds.  The entry was £5 each but we had an enjoyable game of cards, drank wine and enjoyed eating some really delicious delicacies prepared by members of the Village Hall Committee.  And if that wasn't enough we also had time to talk to people we knew and a few we didn't.

On the card front, there were a number of prizes but the first prize went to Monica From Griston who scored 139 points - pretty good when you consider that second place scored only 120!
